These early days of recovery all feel pretty much the same. Wake up, take temperature, watch a show, sleep, drink fluids, repeat. This makes surprises of any kind all the more welcomed and exciting. Making a cameo on the front porch yesterday were my Aunt Marice, Uncle Al, and Cousins Laura, Steve, & Gabriel...On a normal Thanksgiving we'd all be celebrating together - making the surprise and safe hello through the window all the more special! Thanks to Raj for helping to organize, and for my family for shlepping out to Friess Lake for such a meaningful through the window wave, complete with homemade signs and blown kisses.
This Thanksgiving I was more of a spectator on the food front, but appreciative that my family could still have all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings - and I managed to make it to the dining room table to join them!

Health updates:
- Made it outside today for the first time, with a walk to the end of the drive way and back
- Hoping as I near 1 week since the last chemo treatment, some of the worst and lingering parts of the chemo side-effects are ready to take a hike!!! Fingers crossed!
- Hair is still fully attached to my head - Fingers crossed on this front too...
